The Chiayi inspection station, one of the four inspection stations of Taichung Branch, executes inspection of animals, animals products, plants and plant products for export. The Chiayi inspection station region includes Chiayi City, Chiayi County and Yunlin County.

Major Responsibilities

• Inspect plants and their products for export.
• Inspect animals and their products for export.
• Inspect plants in field for export.
• Quarantine imported day-old poultry.
• Implement meat inspection and surveys in slaughterhouses of Chiayi area.
• Implement other services releated to animal and plant inspection and quarantine.
