The Hsinchu Office of BAPHIQ is responsible for animal and plant health quarantine and meat hygiene jurisdiction over Taoyuan City, Hsinchu City and County and Miaoli County. The office including two Quarantine Station - Taoyuan Inspection  Station and Hsinchu Inspection Station, headquarters is established at Taiwan Taoyuan (Former C.K.S.) International Airport. Therefore, the office is in charge of the quarantine for import and export of animal, plant and their products as well as those carried by passengers.

   With Taiwan as a member of World Trade Organization (WTO), the trade of agricultural products has increased and people travel between countries more frequently. Meaning the incidences of animal and plant diseases and pests have also increased greatly. Thus diseases and pests prevention and quarantine  in import/export has become more important than ever. Furthermore, Meat sanitation also concerned by this branch office.

    Under the Bureau, our office provide not only professional quarantine service to prevent any animal disease and plant pest invasion in Taiwan, but also efficient consultation and assistance to those in need.
